Friendship Community Church

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world,
but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

We are raising up a community of passionate students that love Christ and each other! Students need to know what they believe and why, making their faith real and personal. We come together weekly for our youth gatherings, to help each teen see Jesus a little more clearly, taking their next step toward Him. Understanding that teens of today are bombarded with stress, issues, and temptations, at the CITY students experience relevant teaching that gives insight to those issues and real answers based on the Bible. We commit to helping each teen understand their immense value to God as they discover His amazing plan for their life.

What to expect on your first visit
Our students meet on Wednesday nights, from 6:15-8:00 PM at the CITY (11853 Lebanon Road). Students start arriving at 5:15 to experience 3D, Disciples Digging Deeper, a discipleship class for students that want to dive deeper into the Bible. At 6:00 PM there is a time of hanging out and munching on pizza or snacks. The middle school (6th -8th grades) and high school (9th-12th grades) have their own spaces and leaders dedicated just for them. At 6:15 we start some high energy games to get everyone laughing and getting to know one another. 6:30 marks the time we get into the Bible through large group teaching and small group discussion. At 7:45 we gather to praise and worship God through music and singing our lungs out to Him. At 8:00 our night officially ends, but the AFTER PARTY starts for those that want to stay. The AFTER PARTY is 15 minutes of more praising, sometimes a little dancin’ and a few more minutes to hang out. A team of 20 adults, committed to mentoring, teaching, and caring for students are there each week.

Rebels with a cause: Our students are committed to making a profound difference in the world around them. They are rebelling against the low expectations the world has placed on them and refuse to become the stereotypical teen. They love to serve because they understand that is one way they can best represent Jesus Christ, and demonstrate His love in practical ways to their community and world. Whether collecting shoes, loving on senior citizens, or working with refugees and their children, our students are monthly investing in those around them.
