Wade Williams

Our Worship Leader, Wade Williams grew up in Williamsburg, VA where he learned to play guitar at the age of 15 and began leading worship at the age of 19. In 2000, he moved to Nashville as a result of his involvement in music. Soon after moving, he met his wife, Julie, and they began singing and leading worship together immediately. Both Wade and Julie completed Bachelor’s degrees at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. Since then, they have been involved in worship ministries at a few different Mt. Juliet churches as well as independent events. Their band, Blue Sky Day is currently recording their first album to be released fall 2010. They also have two daughters who keep them busy and laughing everyday.
Wade began leading worship at Friendship in September 2009. During the week, he works in the shipping department of Griffin Technology as a team floor leader. He enjoys his work there, especially getting inside information on the latest technology, but his passion and calling in life is leading God’s people in worship through music.
